Full colour high resolution 8"x10" print of the Victoria name plaque, ready for framing.
Victoria is the culmination of our 2015-18 design arc, and the first to be fully designed for photographic print resolution. It was created as a companion piece for the Vivien plaque, sharing Vivien's illuminated V outlined by the prayer from Psalm 19v14 in Te Reo Maori, and was completed in only 5 weeks.
In the ten years that Victoria served as Bishop of Christchurch, NZ, it was our privilege to spend quality time with Her Grace on several occasions and we have great respect for her both as a person and as a church leader. So, although our move to Dunedin had taken us out of the Diocese of Christchurch, when we heard that Victoria was preparing to move on to her next mission, we wanted to say thank you and farewell with a special creation.
Because of Victoria's impending travels we chose keep the work small – the original was only 6"x8", and it is tightly packed with symbols and references relating to Victoria's journey thus far; from Canada via Camino de Santiago to New Zealand, the original and interim Cathedrals of Christchurch, and text from her writings and speeches.
We're delighted to now make a limited number of 8"x10" prints of this "wonderful and greatly treasured" plaque available. Shipping to countries other than Australia and New Zealand can be arranged.
